Howling at the moon

the lone wolf
is howling at the moon
the moon gives him stregnth
such a full moon.

tonight it is big
round
and bright.
helping prepare the wolf
for a fight.

the fights are daily
and the wolf needs his strength.
after he howls
he runs to find enemies
enemies to kill.
however, one finds him.
his mortal enemy.

he chases the enemy in the forest
until he is tired.
then he attacks.

after the kill
the wolf howls again
to warn others to stay away.

he looks up at the moon.
which is giving him more power.
soon the wolf fells asleep
on this great night.
